Dreams and Coincidences

I use to have a dream that I'm not sure if it was a dream or was it reality but just because it happened so long ago it's all blurry in my head and I mistook it as a dream. It's about going up to an ulu hill resort and visiting some kind of bird park or something.

Then there were a few instances when I dreamt about scary stuff like being in a Diablo game and being attacked by evil ghouls and stuff. Mind you some of these dreams were like serial dramas with consecutive episodes every night. Evidence of too much gaming when young.

Since there's mention of scary dreams, there should be a favourite one. I think it was a week ago that I had this absolutely amazing dream where... ... OK, nuff said.

And last night I dreamed about Arius. Unbearably cute!!!

Moving on, this is something I've wanted to blog for a very long time. It's about the coincidences in my life. I think from now on I'll give it a label of it's own. There's been more than thousands of these coincidences I think, but here are a few small examples:

...I'm listening to my dated Stefanie Sun songs again lately, and suddenly I see one of her MVs on TV...

...I just finished watching E.U. that day and I turn on TV then see 江若琳 on...

...I heard Hips Don't Lie on the car radio just before parking and when I enter a supermarket they keep repeating Shakira's concert video of that song...

...I wanted to do some reading on Stockholm Syndrome yesterday and then it was mentioned on the latest of episode of Betty, which I watched yesterday!...

...and many more which I can't remember now.

I've been told that horoscopes are unreliable due to the fact that it's too general like for example when they say something about financial woes or being emotionally disturbed today, you would notice events related to that aspect, and usually if as "predicted" something happens - which it probably would because of such general statements - it'll get you thinking how mystical horoscope predictions are! Having said so much I have to admit I still read my star sign predictions for fun. Haha..

Anyway, before I digress too far, what I wanna say is that all these may just be coincidences that - only until it happens - you start to assign (dunno if this is the right word, English getting rusty lately) it a certain significance.

But I do find that coincidences happen too frequently sometimes, so I wanna record some down, for no other reason that it being...COOL!

My Christmas Playlist

I've finally compiled all the Christmas songs in my collection and created a Christmas playlist. Too early you say? I say why not feel the Christmas cheer for a longer period of time than - err - 3 days? Yeah~ I think I'm gonna play it throughout December (that, and Lady GaGa). I'm also changing my browser theme, desktop background and maybe even mobile wallpaper to Christmas themes.

I sense that Christmas this year will be uneventful for me. Don't ask why, it's just this feeling. And I wouldn't say it's all that bad, seeing what an 'eventful' Christmas last year turned out to be. It's not that everything last Christmas was bad (trust me I liked the good parts), but this does prove 'uneventful' ≠ 'totally bad', right? What-eva~
